PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raw refuse residue treating method for adjusting an earthworm breeding floor to a temperature optimum for the action of the earthworm even in winter or in a cold district thereby to improve the action environment of the earthworm.SOLUTION: A raw refuse residue treating apparatus utilizing an earthworm pours earthworms and a raw refuse residue 4 onto an earthworm breeding floor 3 laid in the section of a peripheral wall 20, and feeds the earthworm with the raw refuse residue 4 poured. A temperature regulator 7 adjusts the earthworm breeding floor 3 to a predetermined temperature so that an earthworm can eat and treat the raw refuse residue 4 efficiently.【課題】冬期や寒冷地においても、みみず飼育床をみみずの活動に最適な温度に調節し、みみずの活動環境の向上を図る。【解決手段】本発明は、周壁２０の区画内に敷きつめられたみみず飼育床３上に、みみずと生ごみ残渣４を投入し、投入された生ごみ残渣４をみみずに食させて処理するみみずを利用した生ごみ残渣処理装置である。前記みみず飼育床３を所定温度に調節してみみずが効率的に生ごみ残渣４を食処理することができる温度調節装置７を設けている。【選択図】図１
