The present invention relates to an apparatus for slicing brown algae, wherein brown algae, such as seaweed and kelp, are continuously transported in a length direction by a pair of screws, the transported brown algae are sequentially discharged through a plurality of discharge holes, and herein, a slicing unit for slicing brown algae is provided in the front of the discharge holes, thereby slicing the brown algae into a predetermined size and maximizing the slice surface area of the sliced algae, and thus increasing the drying efficiency.
