The invention relates to a device for recovering a sharp tool such as a needle (1) suitable for mounting on a tool carrier such as a syringe (2) for integument puncture, said sharp tool displaying a substantially cylindrical attachment end. The device for recovering comprises a device for detaching (100) the tool from the tool carrier, said device for detaching comprising a tube (110) having a substantially conical shape wherein a first immobilisation end (111) displays, on a plane perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the tube, a section having an appropriate shape and appropriate deformability for clamping the attachment end of the tool when said tool is forcibly inserted in the tube up to the first end of the tube.
