The invention relates to a method for producing polyolefin plastic films having an antimicrobial activity, capable of inhibiting food pathogens upon coming into direct contact with the surface of the food. The method consists in anchoring essential oils of oregano and thyme, by way of antimicrobial additives, to the surface of the plastic film, prior to ionisation of the film surface by means of irradiation with an electron beam. The invention also relates to the antimicrobial plastic film produced from polyolefin polymers and obtained by this method and to the use of same in order to produce food storage containers.La presente invención se refiere a un método para producir películas plásticas poliolefinicas con actividad antimicrobiana, capaz de inhibir patógenos alimentarios al entrar en contacto directo con la superficie del alimento. El método comprende el anclaje de aceites esenciales de orégano y tomillo, como aditivos antimicrobianos sobre la superficie de la película plástica, previa ionización de la superficie de la película mediante la irradiación con un haz de electrones. La película plástica antimicrobiana producida a partir de polímeros poliolefinicos obtenida por el método aquí descrito y el uso de esta, para fabricar envases para conservar alimentos.La présente invention concerne un procédé de production de films plastiques polyoléfiniques à activité antimicrobienne, permettant dinhiber les pathogènes alimentaires lors dune entrée en contact direct avec la surface de laliment. Ce procédé consiste à réaliser lancrage dhuiles essentielles dorigan et de thym, en tant quadditifs antimicrobiens, sur la surface du film plastique, avant ionisation de la surface du film par exposition à un faisceau délectrons. Linvention concerne également le film plastique antimicrobien produit à partir de polymères polyoléfiniques au moyen dudit procédé, ainsi que son utilisation dans la fabrication demballages pour la conservation daliments.
