PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning reel for fishing capable of regulating a support member to be located in a fishing line releasing position when a changeover lever is kept in a normally and reversibly rotatable state.SOLUTION: The spinning reel 10 for fishing is equipped with a bail support member 14c having a fishing line guide part 14e supported reversibly to a fishing line winding position and the fishing line releasing position, and a changeover lever 62 capable of changing over a reverse rotation preventing state for preventing the reverse rotation of a rotor to the normally and reversibly rotatable state capable of normally/reversibly rotating the rotor in an arm part 14b of the rotor 14 rotating in interlocking to rotating operation of a handle 24 provided in the reel body 12.
