A novel compound is disclosed, said compound comprising hyaluronic acid, optionally cross-linked, or an oligomer, optionally cross-linked, dimer or monomer thereof, which is salified or at least partially salified with carnosine, wherein the carnosine is in the form of an L- or D-enantiomer or a racemate； a process for producing this compound, its cosmetic and therapeutic use as well as pharmaceutical and cosmetic compositions containing the same are also disclosed.Le nouveau composé ci-décrit comprend de l'acide hyaluronique, éventuellement réticulé, ou un oligomère, éventuellement réticulé, un de ses dimères ou monomères, qui est salifié ou partiellement salifié avec une carnosine, la carnosine étant sous la forme de l'énantiomère L ou D ou d'un racémate.
