PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter system capable of reliably pulling a balloon into a guiding catheter after shrinking without influencing expansion of the balloon.SOLUTION: A catheter system includes a balloon catheter 11 having a balloon 31 at its tip part and a guiding catheter 10 into which the balloon catheter 11 is inserted. A balloon pulling-in aid 12 is slidably inserted into a guiding shaft 20 of the guiding catheter 10 along the axial direction. The balloon pulling-in aid 12 includes a long-sized aid shaft 40 that is inserted into the lumen of the guiding shaft 20 and causes the balloon catheter 11 to be inserted into the lumen, and an expansion part 41 provided to the tip part of the aid shaft 40.
