The present invention relates to high hydrating power cosmetic formulations comprising as active ingredient ucuuba butter (virola surinamensis) comprising the myristic acid in high concentration, more particularly at a concentration of 70% or more of the constitution of said butter. furthermore, the invention relates to products comprising such cosmetic formulations, as well as the use of ucuuba butter for the preparation of a differentiated cosmetic product with high skin moisturizing power as will be demonstrated in the present patent application. further, the invention discloses a cosmetic kit comprising the disclosed formulation together with a suitable applicator and instructions for use.a presente invenção refere-se a formulações cosméticas com alto poder hidrante compreendendo, como princípio ativo, manteiga de ucuuba (virola surinamensis) compreendendo o ácido mirístico em elevada concentração, mais particularmente em concentração igual ou superior a 70% da constituição da dita manteiga. além disso, a invenção refere-se a produtos compreendendo tais formulações cosméticas, bem como ao uso de manteiga de ucuuba para preparação de um produto cosmético diferenciado com alto poder hidratante da pele, tal como será demonstrado no presente pedido de patente. ainda, a invenção revela um kit cosmético compreendendo a formulação revelada juntamente com um aplicador adequado e instruções para uso.
