PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rearing method of seedlings of Anredera cordifolia, which are difficult to branch and have only one stem elongated and leaves sparsely attached, with a yield expected to be the same as for conventional densely plated seedlings even if planted widely apart.SOLUTION: Before the main stem 1, the child branch, or grandchild branch of the Anredera cordifolia seedling reach 30 cm, the tip of the main stem, the child branch, or grandchild branch is cut leaving two to six leaves from the proximal region thereof, and by repeating an operation urging branching one to ten times, a seedling formed with a plurality of branches can be raised.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】分枝しにくく茎が１本だけ伸長し葉もまばらに付くアカザカズラにおいて、株間を広くして植え付けても、従来苗の密植と同等の収量が期待できる苗の育成法を提供する。【解決手段】アカザカズラ苗の主茎１又は子分枝又は孫分枝の長さが３０ｃｍに達する以前に主茎又は子分枝又は孫分枝の基部から２葉乃至６葉を残してその茎の先端を切除して分枝を促す操作を１回から１０回繰り返すことで複数の分枝で形成された苗の育成が可能となる。【選択図】図１
