Relates elongated surgical repair product comprising a load-bearing member containing strands comprising a (HPPE) yarn biocompatible high-performance polyethylene consisting essentially of ultra-high molar mass polyethylene of a plurality of (UHMWPE) filaments, the invention is here (UHMWPE) filaments having an effective diameter of 16 micrometers or less. This product is able to show the strength knot higher than known products, containing a relatively robust strand without loss of desirable properties.
