PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective composition (e.g., medicinal composition or food composition) for ameliorating symptoms accompanied by acute aggravation of chronic heart failure and to provide a composition for ameliorating symptoms accompanied by acute aggravation of chronic heart failure which is not ameliorated by therapeutic agents for heart failure.SOLUTION: The composition for ameliorating symptoms accompanied by acute aggravation of chronic heart failure comprises three kinds of branched chain amino acids consisting of isoleucine, leucine and valine as active ingredients.
