The first portion is formed from a homogenous, optically clear material and the second portion is formed from an inhomogeneous, optically-scattering material. The method includes shaping the cylindrical blank to provide the contact lens. The contact lens includes a first region surrounded by a second region, the first region being formed from the homogenous, optically clear material and the second region being formed from the inhomogeneous, optically-scattering material.L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'une lentille de contact qui consiste à réaliser une ébauche cylindrique pour la lentille de contact, l'ébauche cylindrique incluant une première partie et une deuxième partie. La première partie est formée à partir d'un matériau homogène optiquement transparent et la deuxième partie est formée d'un matériau non homogène à dispersion optique. Le procédé consiste à mettre en forme l'ébauche cylindrique pour réaliser la lentille de contact. La lentille de contact inclut une première zone entourée d'une deuxième zone, la première zone étant formée à partir du matériau homogène optiquement transparent et la deuxième zone étant formée à partir du matériau non homogène à dispersion optique.
