PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition and a method for removing a localized fat accumulation containing a fat precipitant associated with lower eyelid fat hernia, lipodystrophia, and cellulite that require neither surgery nor a prolonged recovery time, and for tightening loose skin.SOLUTION: There are provided a composition and a method using bile acid or its salt as a pharmacologically active surfactant, which are useful for reducing a localized fat precipitant and tightening loose skin in a subject requiring this treatment. The pharmacologically active surfactant can additionally contain an antiinflammatory, analgesic drug, dispersant or anti-dispersant, and pharmaceutically acceptable excipient.
