The invention relates to medicine, and specifically to a method for preventing and/or treating diseases related to a reduced density of interferon receptors, including introducing an effective amount of glutaryl histamine or of a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. The present invention solves the problem of providing a novel agent which is effective in overcoming resistance to therapy using interferons when dealing with diseases chosen from a group including hepatitis B, herpes, and papillomavirus infection.L'invention se rapporte au domaine de la médecine, et concerne notamment un procédé de prévention et/ou de traitement de maladies liées à une densité réduite de récepteurs d'interféron, lequel consiste à administrer une quantité efficace de glutarylhistamine ou d'un sel pharmaceutiquement acceptable de celle-ci. Ces maladies peuvent comprendre l'hépatite B, l'herpès, une infection par papillomavirus ou une sclérose diffuse. L'invention concerne également une composition pharmaceutique pour la prévention et/ou le traitement de maladies liées à une densité réduite de récepteurs d'interféron, laquelle comprend une quantité efficace de glutarylhistamine ou d'un sel pharmaceutiquement acceptable de celle-ci.
