PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new Urals Glycyrrhiza having high yield of glycyrrhizinic acid from which glycyrrhizinic acid is obtained in a high yield. SOLUTION: The new urals glycyrrhiza comprises glycyrrhizinic acid-high yield glycyrrhiza uralensis Fischer whose hypogeum has high yield of the glycyrrhizinic acid of 3.5-15.0 g. It is preferable that: the rate of the content of the glycyrrhizinic acid in the hypogeum thereof is 3.2-4.7% and the weight of the raw hypogeum is 150-900 g; in particular, the rate of the content of the glycyrrhizinic acid in the hypogeum is 4.0-4.7% and the weight of the raw hypogeum is 150-400 g; or the rate of the content of the glycyrrhizinic acid in the hypogeum is 3.2-3.7% and the weight of the raw hypogeum is 800-900 g.
