PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cryogenic gas straightener for straightening cryogenic gas flowing at a gutter-shaped flow passage.SOLUTION: A cryogenic gas straightener 100 of this invention is used for a freezing device in which some frozen items A are fed into cryogenic gas C flowing in a gutter-shaped flow passage 1 to freeze them comprising: a liquid storing tank 21 for storing cryogenic gas C； a liquid pump 25 for pumping up the cryogenic gas C from the liquid storing tank 21 through a liquid lift-up pipe 23； and a supply pipe 27 for supplying the cryogenic gas C sucked up by the liquid pump 25 to an upstream side of the gutter-shaped flow passage 1. The gutter-shaped flow passage 1 comprises a fan part 3 of which a flow passage width is expanded from the upstream side toward the downstream side； and a specified width part 5 having a specified flow passage width continuously from a downstream end part 3a of the fan part 3. The fan part 3 comprises: an upstream side wall surface 7 for closing an upstream side end part of the fan part 3； a lid part 9 for closing the upper surface of the fan part 3； and a straightener shock absorbing plate 11 for closing the upper part in section in a flow passage width direction at the end part 3a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
