PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface formation method of a tubular body having a metal coating film in a mirror state where polishing flaws can be visually recognized.SOLUTION: The invented surface formation method of a tubular body has: a process in which a ground layer 10 is formed in the surface of a raw material body 1 which is molded in a tubular shape of fiber-reinforced resin material a process in which the surface of the ground layer 10 is roughened a process in which coating 20 is sprayed to the surface of the roughened ground layer 10 so that the surface roughness (Rz) can be 3.0 μm or more and periodicity (Pc) per 1 cm can be 15/cm or more a process in which a metal coating film 30 is formed on the surface of the sprayed coating and a process in which a clear layer 40 is formed on the metal coating film 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
