PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod inhibiting decrease of flexural strength or the like, eliminating an uncomfortable feeling on external design, and easy to fabricate.SOLUTION: The butt body 1 includes an inside layer 1B arranged on the tip part of the rod, and an outside layer 1C arranged on the outside of the inside layer 1B on the total length of the butt body 1. The inside layer 1B is constructed to expand inward from the inner circumferential surface located on the butt side than the tip part of the rod by winding a reamer pattern made of a reinforced prepreg.
