An X-ray image apparatus includes: an X-ray source which generates an X-ray and irradiates previously designed phantom； an X-ray detector forming a plurality of sensors which detects and outputs the X-ray which penetrates the phantom； an image forming method for forming the phantom image corresponding to the outputted X-ray； a function acquiring unit which acquires a compensation function for controlling the pixel value of the formed phantom image by using the formed phantom image； and an image control unit for controlling the pixel value of the formed phantom image by using the acquired compensation function. The X-ray image apparatus and an X-ray image forming method are able to obtain a result image having reduced noise by controlling the strength of the X-ray outputted from the sensors and reduce the quantity of data and the quantity of sampling by using two X-ray images for the phantom, which is two one-dimensional images.엑스선 영상 장치는, 엑스선을 발생시켜 미리 설계된 팬텀(phantom)에 조사하는 엑스선 소스； 복수의 센서를 포함하여, 상기 팬텀을 투과한 엑스선을 검출하여 출력하는 엑스선 검출기； 상기 출력되는 엑스선에 대응하여 팬텀 영상을 생성하는 영상 생성부； 상기 생성된 팬텀 영상을 이용하여 상기 생성된 팬텀 영상의 픽셀값을 조정하기 위한 컴펜새이션(compensation) 함수를 획득하는 함수 획득부； 및 상기 획득된 컴펜새이션 함수를 이용하여 상기 생성된 팬텀 영상의 픽셀값을 조정하는 영상 조정부； 를 포함할 수 있다..이와 같은 엑스선 영상 장치 및 그 제어 방법에 의하면 복수의 센서로부터 출력되는 엑스선의 강도를 조정함으로써 노이즈가 저감된 결과 영상을 얻을 수 있다. 또한, 팬텀에 대한 두개의 엑스선 영상, 즉 두개의 1차원 영상을 이용함으로써 데이터량과 샘플링량을 줄일 수 있다.
