PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vital measuring instrument capable of contributing to an early detection of worsening of subjects condition.SOLUTION: This vital measuring instrument 10 includes: a first detecting section 21 that detects respiration movement of a subject and acquires a first respiration waveform on the basis of the respiration movement and a second detecting section 22 that detects the respiration movement of the subject in the lower extremity side of the subject with respect to the first detecting section and acquires a second respiration waveform on the basis of the respiration movement.
