PURPOSE: A diagnostic system, a medical image system, and a method for indicating a diagnostic image for a subject are provided to produce and indicate a 2-demensional diagnostic image for the subject by using a hybrid beam-former.CONSTITUTION: A probe(100) comprises sub-arrays. The sub-arrays constitute an array transducer with one sub-array. A controller produces a time delay value for digital beam forming according to the sub-arrays. The array transducer transmits and receives a signal with a subject according to the produced time delay value. A hybrid beam-former(200) executes analog beam forming in a direction in which the sub-arrays are arranged.
