PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microneedle array which is comprised of a sheet portion and needle portions to enable an excellent medicament efficacy to be attained.SOLUTION: A microneedle array 110 comprises a sheet portion 116 and a plurality of needle portions 112 on an upper surface of the sheet portion. The needle portions comprises a water-soluble polymer and a medicament, 50 mass% or more of the total solid of the needle portions being the water-soluble polymer. The water-soluble polymer and the medicament are present at a ratio represented by following formula 1 in a needle distal end region which includes distal ends of the needle portions and has a height corresponding to a length 20% of the height of the entire needle portions, the sheet portion comprising the water-soluble polymer.
