PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilization cooling apparatus and a sterilization cooling method each capable of reducing equipment running cost.SOLUTION: A sterilization cooling apparatus 10 includes a heating chamber 12 for sterilizing an object T by heating, a cooling chamber 14 for cooling the sterilized object T, and a conveyance part 16 for conveying the object T from the heating chamber 12 to the cooling chamber 14. The conveyance part 16 is configured by dividing into a heating conveyance part 16A for placing the object T and conveying inside the heating chamber 14, and a cooling conveyance part 16B for placing the object T and conveying inside the cooling chamber 16.
