PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide chewing gum for pets that can improve a tooth brushing effect, and a method for producing the chewing gum for pets.SOLUTION: The chewing gum for pets is made from animal skin and includes a knitted part knitted with a single string-like member obtained from animal skin. When a pet chews the chewing gum, the teeth thereby enter the gaps in the knitted part to obtain the tooth brushing effect. Further, because of being knitted with the single string-like member, the knitted part hardly comes apart into pieces but can retain the shape even in the case of being deformed by chewing.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】歯磨き効果を高めることが可能な愛玩動物用ガムおよびその製造方法提供する。【解決手段】動物の皮から作られた愛玩動物用のガムであって、動物の皮から得られる1本の紐状部材によって編まれている編み部分を有している。これにより、愛玩動物がガムを噛んだ際に、編み部分の隙間に歯が入り込み、歯磨き効果を得ることができる。さらに、1本の紐状部材によって編まれているため、咀嚼によって形が崩れた場合であっても、バラバラになりにくく、形を維持することができる。【選択図】図1
