The present invention relates to a method for coloring and loosening loops of keratin fibers, such as the hair, which comprises applying to the fibers of one or more compositions comprising reducing agents, of one or more compositions comprising coloring agents capillaries and a step of heat treatment of the fibers by means of a heating tool. The subject of the invention is also the use of the composition (s) comprising reducing agents and of the composition (s) comprising hair coloring agents in a process for coloring and loosening loops of keratinous fibers. The invention finally relates to a device with several compartments or "kit" suitable for the implementation of such a method.
