The invention relates to a cardiac pacing lead comprising a cable (32) including at least one conducting wire, one end of which terminates in a main connector (5) equipped with at least one first electrical contact (4, 6) to be inserted into an electrical connector comprising at least one mating contact in a housing of a pacemaker, said cable providing a link between the at least one first contact and a distal pacing electrode (70).
