The invention relates to a device in the form of a rotating roller for preventing thromboembolic risk in passengers during long journeys by plane or bus. It is a simple roller (1), rotatably mounted on a concentric fixed axis, placed horizontally under the feet of passengers, possibly after removal of the flat shelf serving as footrest. The mobilization of the roller, during the flight, by the feet of the passenger produces a blood flush upstream in the veins of the lower limbs by limiting the risk of phlebitis and embolism. Although applicable to other risk situations (prolonged sitting positions, patients at risk of thrombosis), the device according to the invention will find more indications in the prevention of thromboembolic risk during long flights on long haul. L'invention concerne un dispositif sous forme d'un rouleau rotatif destiné à prévenir le risque thrombo-embolique chez les passagers, lors de longs parcours en avion ou en bus. Il s'agit d'un simple rouleau (1), monté en rotatif sur un axe fixe concentrique, placé horizontalement sous les pieds des passagers, éventuellement après dépose de la tablette plane servant de repose-pieds. La mobilisation du rouleau, lors du vol, par les pieds du passager produit une chasse sanguine vers l'amont dans les veines des membres inférieurs en limitant le risque de phlébite et d'embolie. Bien qu'applicable à d'autres situations à risques (positions assises prolongées, malades à risque de thromboses), le dispositif, selon l'invention, trouvera davantage d'indications dans la prévention du risque thromboembolique lors des vols prolongés sur longs courriers.
