PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability and efficiency of an arteriosclerosis inspection.SOLUTION: A blood pressure and pulse wave measurement section 200 comprises a measurement control section 201 for the upper limb and a measurement control section 202 for the lower limb. The measurement control sections for the upper and lower limbs measure pulse waves of the right and left upper arms and the right and left ankles using cuffs 21R, 21L, 22R and 22L respectively. An operation control section 10 detects characteristic points for every pulse wave period of each acquired pulse wave.
