Provided is a functional vegetation base material comprising: 20 to 40 wt% of peat moss； 10 to 20 wt% of perlite； 40 to 50 wt% of a woody material； and 20 to 30 wt% of a viscosity increasing agent. Therefore, vegetation can take rooting within a short period of time without additional structures at a slope of a stony mountain and a bedrock area. When the seed of the manufactured functional vegetation base material is sowed, resistance against rainfall is greatly increased； a germination rate of the seed is increased； and a growth rate of stems and leaves of a plant, which indicates the degree of taking root of a plant, is specifically increased.본 발명은 피트모스(peat moss) 20 내지 40 중량%, 퍼라이트(perlite) 10 내지 20 중량%, 목질원료 40 내지 50 중량% 및 점증제 20 내지 30 중량%를 포함하는 기능성 식생기반재를 제공한다.따라서 석산·암반지역의 사면에서 추가적이 구조물 없이 빠른 시간 내에 식생을 활착시킬 수 있다. 제조된 기능성 식생기반재 종자를 뿌리는 경우에 강우에 대한 저항성이 크게 증가되며, 종자의 발아율 또한 증가되고, 식물의 활착 정도를 나타내는 식물의 줄기 및 잎 생장 속도가 크게 증가한다.
