A method for generating a radial alignmentguide for an eye includes collecting preoperativealignment data relative to a pupil from an eye that is notdilated. The method also includes locating a pupil centerof the eye while dilated. The method further includesdisplaying the alignment data on an image of the dilated eyerelative to the pupil center. In particular embodiments,software embodied in a computer-readable medium isexecutable by a processor to perform the steps of such amethod.
