The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition for the treatment, prevention or amelioration of depression (depressive disorder). The compositions of the present invention to increase the resilience (resilience) of the depression by inducing (induction) the expression of ΔFosB in the brain side jwahaek (nucleus accumbens, NAc). Also it proposes an effective platform for developing a mGluR5 modulator to control the expression of deltaFosB based on the composition of the present invention.본 발명은 우울장애(depressive disorder)의 치료, 예방 또는 개선용 약제학적 조성물을 제공한다. 본 발명의 조성물은 뇌의 측좌핵(nucleus accumbens, NAc)에서의 ΔFosB 의 발현을 유도(induction)함으로써 우울장애에 대한 회복탄력성(resilience)을 증가시킨다. 본 발명자들은 측좌핵에서 mGluR5의 활성이 스트레스 회복력을 증진시키는 중요한 요소임을 최초로 규명하였으며, 이를 통해 mGluR5 아고니스트(agonist)를 포함하는 본 발명의 조성물을 스트레스 극복 및 정신과질환 치료제로 제안한다. 또한 본 발명의 조성물을 기반으로 deltaFosB의 발현을 조절하는 mGluR5 modulator를 개발할 수 있는 유효 플랫폼을 제시한다.
