A system for growing plants, comprising: a cultivation table (22), where the plants to be grown are at least at the growing stage, while at the initial end (26) of the cultivation table there are plant seedlings with their plant substrates located in elongated grooves (1), and at the final end (25) of the cultivation table there are further growing plants with their plant substrates located in elongated grooves (1)； characterized in that the system further comprises : plant substrates (11) with plant seeds sown in them, located in elongated grooves (1), are at the initial end (26) of the cultivation table during the germination stage, during which the planted plant seeds germinate in the plant seedlings: each plant the substrate (11) is an elongated or ribbon-like element located in an elongated groove (1) and having planted seeds of plants with a selected distance between the seeds, while planted seeds of plants, plant seedlings and grown plants and their plant substrates are located in elongated gutters and on the cultivation table both during the germination stage and the growing stage. 2. The system according to claim 1, characterized in that the elongated trough (1) is open from above and provides a freely selectable distance between the seeds of plants.
