PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for reducing loss of an element that exists in the low histogram area in an image histogram and controlling expansion of the image histogram area to improve contrast of the entire image.SOLUTION: A medical image processor includes: an input part for reading an image an image processing part for processing the image and an output part for outputting the image obtained by the processing for providing the medical image processor capable of outputting the image highlighted in the contrast and a method thereof.
