An agricultural round baler (10) includes a frame (26), and a tail gate arrangement (12) carried by the frame (26) and arranged in an arcuate arrangement around a bale chamber (22). The baler (10) is characterized in that the tail gate arrangement (12) include an upper tail gate arrangement (12A) and a lower tail gate arrangement (12B). The upper tail gate arrangement (12A) has a first pivot axis (28) located at an upper, forward portion thereof. The lower tail gate arrangement (12B) has a second pivot axis (30) located at an approximate center of the bale chamber (22) when viewed in cross section.
