PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide coagulation factor VII compositions and methods of preparing and using the same.SOLUTION: The invention provides a composition comprising coagulation factor VII linked to an extended recombinant polypeptide (XTEN). The invention also provides isolated nucleic acid encoding the composition, a vector and a host cell comprising the nucleic acid, and a method of using the composition in treatment of coagulation-related diseases, disorders and conditions associated with the coagulation factor. The invention relates to compositions and methods of treating or improving a condition, or for enhancing a parameter associated with administration of coagulation factors IX and/or VII.
