The present invention relates to a scented eau de toilette or eau de parphane composition comprising a high proportion of alcohol for direct attachment to the skin or hair by spraying. More particularly, the present invention relates to a sprayable fragrance composition having superior properties such as the persistence of an olfactory note once attached to the skin. The fragrance imparting composition is clear and comprises ethanol, 0-30 wt% water, 3-40 wt% aroma concentrate, and a copolymer of vinylpyrrolidone and vinyl acetate.
