The present invention relates to a tedder comprising several tedding rotors (9) with wheels (11) resting on the ground and with tines (12) the tips (13) of which are situated at a height (H) off the ground, a front part (3) of the frame (2) being provided with a support (6) on the ground which is situated forward of the rotors (9) and able to rotate about a transverse axis (7), a rear part (15) of the frame (2) bearing the rotors (9) being articulated to the front part (3) via an elongate orifice (23) in which a horizontal and transverse bar (24) is guided, and via an adjusting member (26) articulated to the front and rear parts (3 and 15) and offset vertically relative to the bar (24). According to the invention, in projection onto a vertical plane (P) parallel to the direction of forward travel (A), the orifice has an inclination (α) relative to the vertical which is such that during work, the height (H) of the tips (13) in front of the wheels (11), relative to the ground, remains substantially constant irrespective of a pivoted position of the front part (3) with respect to the support means (6) about the transverse axis (7).
