PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an arm rest structure of a portable toilet in which a malfunction of unlocking is not caused when grasping an arm rest and safety is superior, and the portable toilet with the arm rest structure.SOLUTION: An arm rest structure of a portable toilet 1 concerning the present invention includes: an arm rest 7 with a rear end side turnably mounted to a support 15 of a toilet body 2 an operating piece 41 provided at the tip side of the arm rest 7, and pushed in the axial direction of the arm rest 7 and operated a stress transfer bar 43 with one end connected to the operating piece 41 and provided with a lock pin 45 at the other end side, and movably provided in the axial direction of the arm rest 7 a spring 47 for biasing the stress transfer bar 43 and the operating piece 41 toward the tip side of the arm rest 7 in the operation and a horizontal state locking part with the lock pin 45 locked when the arm rest 7 is substantially in a horizontal state.
