The present invention is a method of treating a human subject suffering from some form of multiple sclerosis (MS) or exhibiting a clinically isolated syndrome (CIS), wherein the subject is a) There is provided a method comprising periodically administering an amount of laquinimod, and b) an amount of a compound of formula (I) as described herein. The present invention also provides packages and pharmaceutical compositions containing laquinimod and a compound of formula (I) as described herein.
