Disclosed embodiments are related to methods of remotely monitoring a patient being treated for cardiac arrhythmia wherein a patient, previously and successfully treated for cardiac arrhythmia with vanoxerine is prescribed a further dose for self-administration of a further dose of vanoxerine for treatment of a subsequent occurrence of cardiac arrhythmia and instructed to remotely monitor said subsequent occurrence of cardiac arrhythmia.
