A negative pressure wound therapy dressing comprises a drainage tube 12. The drainage tube 12 is formed of a tube 14. Tube 14 is knitted or braided using a monofilament yarn and is surrounded by an impermeable sheath. The monofilament yarn may be polyester, polyamide, polyethylene, polypropylene or polybutylene terephthalate. Tube 14 may have external diameter between 4-10mm or 5-8mm. The impermeable sheath may be of polyurethane. The sheath may comprise one or more impermeable sheets 15a,15b, where the tube 14 may be sandwiched between the two impermeable sheets 15a,15b and where the sheath may adhere to the tube 14 by heat sealing. One end of drainage tube 12 may form an integral tab 16 to facilitate attachment of the drainage tube 12 to a dressing 1 and another end of the drainage tube 12 may be arranged to connect to a source of negative pressure.
