PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image conversion attachment for a monocular indirect ophthalmoscope which converts an inverted image through a collecting lens into an upright image for observation for observing an ocular fundus irradiated with light by using the monocular indirect ophthalmoscope.SOLUTION: The image conversion attachment for the monocular indirect ophthalmoscope converts the inverted image reflected on the collecting lens for observing the ocular fundus irradiated with light from the monocular indirect ophthalmoscope into an upright image. It includes a scope for viewing an image reflected on the collecting lens upside down and in a laterally reversed state and an attaching member to which the scope is attached and is detachably fitted to the monocular indirect ophthalmoscope. When the ocular fundus irradiated with light is observed by the monocular indirect ophthalmoscope, the inverted image reflected on the collecting lens can be converted into the upright image and can be viewed by the scope attached to the monocular indirect ophthalmoscope through the attaching member.
