PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmic agent that suppresses occurrence of blurred vision when dropped on an eye and has high migration property (migration rate) of a timolol maleate as an active ingredient into eye tissue.SOLUTION: The ophthalmic agent contains a timolol maleate and contains (A) a gelling agent and (B) a nonionic surfactant.
