The present invention relates to the field of perfumery. More particularly, it provides a perfuming composition capable of prolonging the release of a perfuming component into the surrounding environment when applied on a body surface. The composition comprises PPG-3 myristyl ether as a fragrance evaporation modulator in the presence of high amounts of ethanol. The invention also relates to consumer articles containing such compositions. It finally provides methods for the perfuming of a body surface and a method for increasing the long-lastingness of a perfuming component using these compositions.La présente invention concerne le domaine de la parfumerie. Plus particulièrement, l'invention porte sur une composition parfumante pouvant prolonger la libération d'un composant parfumant dans l'environnement ambiant lorsqu'elle est appliquée sur une surface de corps. La composition comprend de l'éther de PPG-3 et de myristyle en tant que modulateur d'évaporation de parfum en présence de grandes quantités d'éthanol. L'invention porte également sur des articles de consommation contenant de telles compositions. L'invention porte en outre sur des procédés pour le parfumage d'une surface de corps et sur un procédé pour l'augmentation de la ténacité d'un composant parfumant utilisant ces compositions.
