[Problem] To provide a transparent composition which has a ultraviolet light protecting effect while maintaining a high transparency and, when contacted with moisture such as water or sweat, the ultraviolet light protecting effect of which is improved compared with the effect immediately after application.[Solution] A transparent composition comprising (a) a ultraviolet light absorber, (b) an oily component having a refractive index of 1.5-1.7, (c) an oily component having a refractive index of from 1.3 to 1.5 exclusive, and (d) a powder having a refractive index of 1.45-1.55, wherein the refractive index of an oily component mixture, said mixture comprising the oily component (b) having a refractive index of 1.5-1.7 and the oily component (C) having a refractive index of from 1.3 to 1.5 exclusive, is 1.44-1.56.Le problème décrit par la présente invention est de fournir une composition transparente qui a un effet de protection contre la lumière ultraviolette tout en conservant une transparence élevée et, lorsqu'elle est mise en contact avec de l'humidité telle que de l'eau ou de la sueur, l'effet de protection contre la lumière ultraviolette est amélioré par rapport à l'effet immédiatement après l'application.
