PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spray device for controlling a pest insect, capable of controlling the pest insect such as a mosquito always well without using an electric source such as a battery at all.SOLUTION: The spray device for controlling the pest insect is equipped with a pressure-resistant container 8 for storing chemicals having pest insect-controlling effects, having a valve stem 12 installed in the upper part, and stored in the interior of a device body 1, a button 15 for spraying, moving upper or lower and installed in the upper part of the device body 1, and a malfunction-preventing mechanism part 30 capable of fixing the downward movement of the button 15 for spraying. The spray device is constituted so that the chemicals may be sprayed from a discharging opening 11 of the valve stem 12 so as to sustain the pest insect-controlling effects over a long period when the button 15 for spraying is pushed and moved downward to allow the valve stem 12 of the pressure-resistant container 8 stored in the interior of the device body 1 to be pushed.
