Provided is a novel antibody having an excellent antibacterial activity against P. aeruginosa. By using plasmablasts obtained from cystic fibrosis patients with chronic P. aeruginosa pulmonary infection as starting materials, antibodies which bind to LPS of a P. aeruginosa strain of serotype A and which have excellent antibacterial activities in vitro and in vivo were successfully obtained.La présente invention concerne un nouvel anticorps ayant une excellente activité antibactérienne contre P.aeruginosa. En utilisantcomme matériaux de départ des plasmoblastes obtenus chez des patients atteints de la mucoviscidose et dune infection pulmonaire chronique par P.aeruginosa, des anticorps se liant aux LPS dune souche de P. aeruginosa de sérotype A et qui ont dexcellentes activités antibactériennes in vitro et in vivo ont été obtenus avec succès.
