PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail for a bathtub designed so as to prevent a sidewall from being broken because turning force operated by turning a handle nob gets excessive and a depressing plate is into pressure contact with the sidewall of a bathtub.SOLUTION: A handrail for a bathtub includes: a body unit 5 to which a handrail 4 is attached a pressure receiver 7 formed by providing a pressure receiving plate 6 disposed facing the other side surface of a sidewall 1 of the bathtub and a depressing plate 9 moving in a direction coming close or separating from one side surface of the sidewall 1 of the bathtub by an operation of an operation handle 8. The pressure receiver 7 includes: a vertical member 36 to which the pressure receiving plate 6 is attached and a slide bar 12 horizontally extending from the upper end of the vertical member 36. The operation handle 8 includes: a bolt shaft 25 passed through a vertical piece 3 of the body unit 5 and having the depressing plate 9 at the inner edge thereof and a handle nob 26 mounted on the outer edge of the bolt shaft 25. A torque lock washer 32 and a lock washer receiver 31 are disposed at the outside of the vertical piece 3 so as to prevent turning force for rotating and operating the handle nob 26 from being transmitted to the bolt shank 25 when the turning force becomes excessive.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】ハンドルノブを回し操作する回動力が過大になって、押圧板が浴槽の側壁に圧接されて側壁が破損等することを防ぐことができる浴槽用手摺りを提供する。【解決手段】手摺り4を取り付けた本体具5、浴槽の側壁1の他方の側面に対向して配置される押圧受け板6を設けて形成される押圧受け具7、操作ハンドル8の操作で浴槽の側壁1の上記一方の側面に近接離反する方向で移動する押圧板9を有する。押圧受け具7は、押圧受け板6が取り付けられる縦部材36と、縦部材36の上端から水平に延出するスライドバー12を有する。操作ハンドル8は、本体具5の縦片3に挿通され、内方端に押圧板9を有するボルト軸25と、ボルト軸25の外方端に設けられるハンドルノブ26とを備える。ハンドルノブ26を回し操作する回動力が過大になると、回動力がボルト軸25に伝わらないようにするトルクロック座金32及びロック座金受け31を縦片3の外側に配置した。【選択図】図1
