The present invention relates to a method for storing leafy vegetables. According to the present invention, the leafy vegetables are mixed with artificial pebbles and then are stored in a storeroom at the constant temperature and the constant humidity. When the leafy vegetables in a large amount are stored in the storeroom at the constant temperature and the constant humidity, dryness of the leafy vegetable surfaces, caused by a storage location or exposure of the leafy vegetables to the outside, can be prevented. According to the method, sudden change of the temperature and humidity, caused when the leafy vegetables are placed and taken out of the storeroom at the constant temperature and the constant humidity, is buffered. Therefore, the leafy vegetables go bad less; contingency of fungus proliferation on the leafy vegetables is reduced; loss of the leafy vegetables occurring when the leafy vegetables are collected is reduced; and thus a period of storing the leafy vegetables can be extended by three to six months or longer. 본 발명은 엽채류을 다공성 인공석과 혼합한 후 항온항습 저장고에서 저장하는 엽채류의 저장방법에 관한 것으로, 항온항습저장고 내에서 대량으로 엽채류을 저장할 때에 적재 위치나 엽채류의 외부 노출에 따른 엽채류의 표면건조를 방지할 수 있고, 항온항습저장고에서 엽채류의 입출고 작업시 발생하는 온도 및 습도의 급작스런 변화에 대하여 완충작용을 함으로써, 엽채류의 짓무름 발생율 및 곰팡이 발생율을 낮추고, 정선 손실율을 낮춰 엽채류의 저장기간을 3 내지 6 개월 이상 연장할 수 있게 한다.
