PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide antibodies that bind TNF-Related Apoptosis-Inducing Ligand (TRAIL) or antigen-binding fragments thereof.
SOLUTION: The antibodies or antigen-binding fragments thereof directed to a TRAIL receptor (TRAIL-R) polypeptides are polypeptides in which the TRAIL receptor polypeptides include the amino acid sequence VPANEGD and are capable of binding TRAIL. Also provided are expression vectors containing DNA sequences encoding TRAIL-R polypeptides, as well as host cells genetically transformed with such recombinant expression vectors.
